Margaret Cho files for divorce

When a marriage isn't working, people may find that it is best for them to just throw in the towel and go their separate ways. Even though some people choose to stay and fight, others may not believe that their marriage can be salvaged. This may not be the reason for all divorces, but it is common for people to agree that their marriage is over and file for divorce.

Margaret Cho has recently been added to the list of celebs to file for divorce this past month. Although very few details about the filing have been shared with the public, allegedly irreconcilable differences is the reason for the divorce. Should the two decide to go through with it, it will officially end their 11-year marriage.

Over the past year, there have been many celebrities who have filed for divorce from their spouses. In cases like these, the marriage may simply come to an end because the two cannot work things out. However, there have been other marriages that have ended due to infidelity or another reason. This particular situation has been different than many of the divorces experienced this year because Cho and her husband have no children, so there will be no discussion of child custody or support.

When anyone is considering a divorce, it is wise for them to seek the assistance of an attorney. Not only may an attorney be able to explain the process of the divorce to people, but they may be able to explain divorce laws in their state. Those considering divorce should not hesitate to at least get information about the process and how things work in their state.
