Big Bang Theory star officially files for divorce

The divorce rate in the United States is something that has been high for several years now. In fact, with thousands of divorces occurring each year, the number of marriages that have come to an end has continued to climb as time has gone by. No matter what the reason for two people divorcing may be, the point is that one or both people want out of the relationship and when they file, they are finally ready to move on with their life and legally end the marriage.

Star of the Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco, has filed divorce from her husband of almost two years. It was reported that she cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The two had allegedly been separated since Sept. 3 of this year. There is a prenuptial agreement in place, but there has not yet been any details released about the agreement.

Cuoco is not the first celeb to file for divorce under these grounds. Irreconcilable differences is often used by couples looking to divorce in all states. There are a number of grounds that people have to choose from, but if irreconcilable differences seems the most suitable for their particular situation, then that is what they choose. In the case of Cuoco and her husband, the decision was reached mutually.

Anyone considering filing for a divorce may want to consider contacting an attorney. The filing is just the beginning of the process and it is likely that people will need someone knowledgeable by their side to help them should their spouse decide to dispute over certain divorce issues. Emotions tend to run high during divorces, but it is possible for couples to remain cordial and have an amicable split despite the reason for their divorce.
