On Dec. 8, 2013 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Santee police were alerted by a person who claimed to have seen a reckless driver. According to the police, the citizen reportedly saw a white model Ford truck driving "on the wrong side of the road" and "all over the road." The person stated that the truck was headed eastbound on Bass Drive in the direction of Highway 6 in South Carolina.
